Community Guidelines
Last updated: March 6, 2026
Ayoo is a space for genuine self-expression and authentic connections. These guidelines help keep our community safe, respectful, and fun for everyone. Violating these guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.
Our Core Values
Everything on Ayoo is built around three principles: be real, be kind, and be safe. Anonymity is a privilege that comes with responsibility. Just because your name isn't attached to a post doesn't mean you can say anything.
1. Respect Everyone
- No bullying or harassment: Don't target individuals with insults, threats, intimidation, or repeated unwanted contact. This includes indirect references designed to identify and harass specific people.
- No hate speech: Don't attack people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or medical condition.
- No discrimination: Treat all community members with equal respect regardless of their background.
2. Keep It Safe
- No threats of violence: Don't threaten to harm anyone, including yourself. If you or someone you know is in danger, please contact local emergency services.
- No self-harm content: Don't post content that promotes, glorifies, or encourages self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
- No doxxing: Don't share another person's private information (real name, address, phone number, school, workplace) without their explicit consent.
- No predatory behavior: Any attempt to groom, exploit, or engage in inappropriate contact with minors will result in immediate permanent ban and may be reported to authorities.
3. Keep It Appropriate
- No explicit sexual content: Don't post sexually explicit text, descriptions, or solicitations.
- No illegal content: Don't post content promoting illegal activities, including drug use, underage drinking, or any criminal behavior.
- No graphic violence: Don't describe extreme violence or gore in your posts.
- Age-appropriate content: Remember that users under 18 are on the platform. Content should be appropriate for all age groups within your pool.
4. Be Authentic
- No spam: Don't flood the feed with repetitive, meaningless, or promotional content.
- No impersonation: Don't pretend to be someone else or misrepresent your identity in a way that could mislead others.
- No manipulation: Don't use multiple accounts, coordinate with others, or use automated tools to artificially boost posts or manipulate the platform.
- No commercial content: Don't use Ayoo for advertising, selling products, or promoting businesses.
5. Respect the Platform
- No cheating: Don't exploit bugs, use hacks, or manipulate the gem/key economy.
- No circumventing moderation: Don't attempt to bypass content filters, blocks, or other safety features.
- Report violations: If you see something that violates these guidelines, report it. Reporting is anonymous and helps keep the community safe.
How We Enforce
We use a combination of automated AI moderation and human review to enforce these guidelines. Actions we may take include:
- Content removal: Posts that violate guidelines are removed from the feed.
- Warning: First-time or minor violations may result in a warning.
- Temporary suspension: Repeated or serious violations may result in a temporary account suspension.
- Permanent ban: Severe violations (threats, predatory behavior, hate speech) result in an immediate permanent ban.
Appeals
If you believe your content was removed or your account was actioned in error, you can appeal by contacting us at support@ayoo.app. We review all appeals and will respond within 7 business days.
A Note on Anonymity
Anonymity on Ayoo is designed to encourage honest expression, not to shield harmful behavior. We take abuse of anonymity seriously. In cases involving illegal activity or imminent safety threats, we may cooperate with law enforcement as required by law.
Remember: the best communities are built when everyone feels safe to be themselves. Thank you for being part of Ayoo.
