Welcome to Ayoo ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application ("the App") and related services (collectively, "the Service").

1.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, date of birth, gender, and optional profile emoji.
- Content: Posts, reactions (Shakas), and other content you submit through the App.
- Snapchat Username: If you choose to provide your Snapchat handle, it may be revealed to users who unlock your identity.
- Purchase Information: When you make in-app purchases, we process transactions through Google Play Billing and RevenueCat. We do not store your payment card details directly.
- Support Communications: If you contact us for support, we collect the information you provide in your communications.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
- Usage Data: How you interact with the App, including features used, content viewed, timestamps, and session duration.
- Location Data: We collect your general location (city/region level) to show you relevant local posts in your feed. We do not track your precise GPS location continuously.
- Crash Reports: We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash logs and diagnostic data to improve App stability.
- Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to understand usage patterns and improve the Service.
1.3 Information from Third Parties
- Authentication Providers: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google.
- Advertising Partners: We use Google AdMob to serve ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad targeting purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Create and manage your account
- Display relevant content in your feed based on your location and age group
- Process in-app purchases and manage your gem/key balances
- Send push notifications (which you can disable in settings)
- Moderate content to enforce our Community Guidelines
- Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve user experience
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, and abuse
- Serve relevant advertisements through AdMob
- Comply with legal obligations
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- With Other Users: Your posts are shared anonymously. Your identity (name, emoji, and optional Snapchat) is only revealed to users who spend keys to unlock you.
- Service Providers: We use third-party services including Firebase (hosting, database, analytics, crash reporting), Google AdMob (advertising), and RevenueCat (in-app purchase management).
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- Safety: We may share information when we believe it is necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of Ayoo, our users, or the public.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- Access and Update: You can access and update your profile information through the App settings.
- Delete Account: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from the App settings.
- Notifications: You can manage push notification preferences in the App settings.
- Ad Preferences: You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings.
- Data Export: You may request a copy of your data by contacting us at the email below.
7. Children's Privacy
Ayoo is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. The App uses age-based pools (under 18 and 18+) to ensure age-appropriate interactions.
8. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have different data protection laws. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
The App may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as Snapchat profiles). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the App or sending you a notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
